Nini Sum is an artist based in Berlin whose work navigates the space between past and future, nature and the surreal. Inspired by Eastern and Daoist philosophies, she reimagines landscapes through contemporary materials and craftsmanship, creating immersive environments where time and perception remain fluid.
Her practice is deeply rooted in her own cultural heritage and evolving sense of self, blending organic forms with abstract structures to explore cyclical notions of time and transformation. Working with hand screen-printing and wood-cutting, she investigates the intersections of tradition, memory, and imagination, developing a visual language that is both meditative and continuously unfolding.
Nini Sum
